Fall 2016 Conversion of Proudfoot's Pharmacy

Fall 2016 Conversion of Proudfoot's Pharmacy

GCAC Gallery/Retail Space

Storefront & Office/kitchenette/bath Space [2400 sq.ft.]

The first step in creating an environment for the Garrett County Arts Council was to divide the former Proudfoot's Phamarcy into two separate floor plans each with its own entrance. The south portion is now the home of The Gallery Shop. This 9-week project presented some unique challenges and adaptations but the light and airy feel it has now is a surprising and welcomed result.

Greatly Pleased!
We at the Sincell Publishing Company hired Eric Robison and Eagle Rock Construction to complete a major overhaul and reconstruction of the ground floor of our 120-year-old office building in downtown Oakland, Maryland. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the result. Eric was available and responsive at all times, and he and his crew conducted the work with speed and efficiency. He kept us updated on needs and requirements, and offered his expert opinions and suggestions on the project. With the age of the structure, of course we ran into a few unique problems, but Eric always seemed to know what to do, or he knew who to call to get that answer. The building was literally transformed, and is now ready for our new renter, the Garrett County Arts Council. The job was expertly done, and at a reasonable cost. We are so pleased. We recommend Eagle Rock Construction to anyone looking for experts in the building field. We are sure you will be satisfied with the work. – Mary McEwen [Our client]
